That’s not quite right.
I’ve been waiting up since finishing my nightshift for two parcels.
Two parcels of car cleaning products. About $240 worth.
So thought I’d kill some time and give Piglet a wash.
Nothing fantastic, clean wheels, degreaser on the bird bombs, pressure rinse, snow foam, pressure rinse then dry with a quick detailer and dress the tyres.
She comes up lovely in no time.
((did the neighbour’s car also to kill time)).
I’m also waiting for a parcel from The Whisky Exchange.
A fantastic Single Grain Teeling Irish Whiskey.
((previous bottle)).

Your neighbour is a lucky person! Can’t you move back here and wash my car? haha

Looks fantastic, gave mine a quick 2 bucket wash because some birds decided to claim my car.

It’s immaculate! On a scale of 1 to 10, I give you a 20.

Ha ha. I was thinking about moving back to Veghel a while back.
And the other day watching new Top Gear I remembered I used to be able to get BBC1 and BBC2 from London in Veghel.
Her car isn’t much to shout about though. A Peugeot 207 is kept immaculate. She only goes to and from work and never really gets dirty but I clean it every month or so.

Lol. Birds are airborne little sh1ts.
The Bimmer looks great.
Thankfully most kept away but the Sahara dust was building up so may go over to my summer car shampoo in the next couple of weeks, it’s an anti-static shampoo with UV protection.

Cheers lass. All the protection was still there with the sealant forcing the water off after a quick snow foam.
Used Gyeon Cure to dry and top up the protection. Super easy to clean which is a little boring at times.

Wow, that looks nice. What car is that? It’s very well proportioned.

I don’t think you can be prime minister of Britain, Canada, Australia and New Zealand...
...Unless you conquer them in a brutal campaign of relentless warfare, mowing down every single obstacle until you get your way and everyone else is dead.

That color is gorgeous. God how I wish I hadn't bought a black car last year.

Skoda Superb Mk3.
There is so many things I love about the car. But I won’t bore you with them.
Here’s a nice side and a front profile.

Appropriate name. That’s a clean design, wish we had more of that in America. It does look kinda.. tall from the side. Almost like it’s trying to be an Accord Crosstour-style crossover sedan thing.

That’s a smart move for the summer.
I also did some paint correction on my friends Miata yesterday, no pictures though. Turned out great, he loved the results.

So I feel like only you would understand how I feel-
I just came back from a 2 week trip and while I was away my mother decided that my car was filthy and decided to wipe it down with a rag and water... I have not been outside to see how bad it looks but I’m almost afraid.
This was after I specifically said not to do anything and here’s the proof:

The liftback hatch is a nice touch. There should be more sedans in the US that have this feature. The fusion in the US looks just like the Mondeo in Europe but with no hatch.

Funny thing was I ordered the lighter blue and by sheer accident the saleswoman wrote down the wrong colour. Could of rejected it but it sang to me when I saw it. Pure fluke.
It’s Petrol Blue Metallic, in Europe it’s called Lava Blue.

That’s just how the picture came out. It’s about the same height and length of a Ford Fusion/Mondeo. But the interior is massive, more legroom in the rear than many limousine cars.
The clean design is what really hits. Notice no bonnet shut lines.

That’s why I enjoy cleaning cars, the satisfaction of cleaning a car and the owners face when they see the car. Priceless.
Glad they liked it fella. It’s a good feeling.

Lol. I know the feeling. I clean friends cars and some will say “can I lend a hand and do something?”. I’m thinking ‘god no, go away’, but say, ‘er, ye’, can I have a cuppa (coffee)?’. That’s usually enough to distract them.

Ye’, I never understand why they don’t just sell the hatchback and estate Mondeo over there.

Good luck with the car. people don’t understand, they say ‘it’s just a car’. I say ‘your car is just a car, my car is my car, go away’. And when they say ‘it’ll only get dirty again’, I reply ‘well you wipe your arse don’t you?’.

Looks great!
I cleaned mine up Saturday...
Not too bad for a daily driver that is almost 13 years old who’s paint was abused for the first 11.5

Thanks.
Very nice. Red can be prone to fading if not looked after but you’ve done yours justice.

The back end is quite faded from before my care. I've done all I can to save it though. This paint is super soft though, kind of a PIA lol

Super soft paint as you say is a PITA. A glass or quartz coating will add some hardness and some scratch resistance.

I can’t bring myself to coat my baby. I enjoy waxing and working on it to much to put on a coating that requires so little maintenance lol. I do plan on coating the wheels and glass when the PBL coatings come in

I don’t have facilities to facilitate the use of coatings but sealants are a great in between, lovely gloss and great durability. Some people wax over a sealant, some seal over a wax. I just seal.

I’ve fallen in love with Blackfire Crystal seal spray sealant as of late. By far my favorite sealant! Super easy to use and looks like you put a layer of glass over the paint haha! I have found that topping it with Blackfire Midnight Sun Carnauba Spray wax adds incredible depth and richness to the look without detracting from the gloss
And that’s on paint that has yet to be corrected

I’ve heard some good stuff about it but I’ve yet to try it myself.
